Remember when checking the mailbox was actually fun?
When seeing your name on an envelope meant somebody
had thought of you—and you couldn’t wait to tear it open?
I think we need a little more of that.
Once a month, a real envelope from Ladybug Cottage arrives in your mailbox—with a letter to read, a reason to smile, and a few things tucked inside that I’m keeping to myself for now.
Some months may make you laugh. Others might be exactly what you needed that day.
But every one will have one thing in common:
It was made to feel like it came from a friend.
A Note From Cheryl
I started the Ladybug Letter Club because I’ve spent a lot of years being the person who remembers.
Birthdays. Appointments. What everybody likes. Who needs cheering up. The little details that make people feel known and loved.
And I have a feeling you may be that person, too.
Then one day I started thinking about how much fun it would be to create that same feeling for you.
Not because it’s your birthday. Not because you accomplished anything.
Not because you checked everything off the list.
Just because.
I think there’s something wonderful about opening the mailbox in the middle of an ordinary day and realizing:
This is for me.
And if an envelope from my little corner of Rhode Island can give you that feeling once a month, I’ll be very happy to send one your way.
So… What’s Inside the Envelope?
Well, I can’t tell you everything. That would ruin half the fun.
But every month, you’ll find a real letter from me—the kind you can actually hold in your hands, fold back up, tuck into a drawer, or read again on a day when you might need it.
There will be something created especially for that month, a little something to play with or do, and always a surprise or two tucked inside.
And then there’s the Lucky Ladybug.
You’ll have to wait and see about that one.
No two envelopes will be exactly alike. Some will make you laugh. Some may catch you right in the heart. And every once in a while, I hope you open one and think:
“Oh my gosh. Look what she sent me.”
Because the best part of the Ladybug Letter Club isn’t really what’s in the envelope. It’s how it feels to find one waiting for you.
